We spent Father's Day in Frankfort at a 12 hour mountain bike race Zach did. It was SOOOOOO hot!! I was there with the kids from about 7:30am until noon. We left for a nap and then came back with a friend and her little one around 3:30 until 7. The guys did a great job! Zach did all his laps for the team, but the other two decided not to finish their last laps, it was just sooooo hot.
Cameron and daddy doing a little ride around the parking lot.
Trevor loved going around on his bike too! It was hard for me to keep up with Cameron though when it was just us.
The guys after their long day of racing in the heat.

"No more monkeys jumping on the bed."

Trevor is now in a toddler bed. He had been trying to get our of the crib and was getting stuck straddling the top rail. So, before a big injury, we had to take the rail off. I thought I'd leave him until he was like 3 or potty training because he's my last baby, but he's a climber!! Last night I went to check him in the middle of the night because I could hear him whining once in a while. I couldn't find him. Finally, I saw his little toe sticking out from under the bed. He had crawled under the bed/crib to the corner in his sleep. Today before his nap, he took all the clothes out of his hutch thing, then got his blanket, book, and lovies and fell asleep on the pile. You never know where you're gonna find them when they are first out of a crib! I already put a child proof lock on the hutch so that I don't have to do laundry twice a day.

The kids in the grocery car. Seems like we do this like every other day. Milk and bananas, just can't buy enough!
Big steps for Cameron this year! He is not scared of the water like he was last year. He will now jump right in! He gets so excited to jump in. He counts to three and then goes. It's so cute!
In other news.......mom is back in town! Yeah!!! Cameron was more excited this time than ever, he kept saying, "Why is it taking her so long to get back to Kentucky this time?" I guess as he gets older he will realize these things more. We went to the cabin Thursday. I pulled weeds, put some kids toys together, and got the computer set up for mom. The kids played and had a blast as usual! I always have to drag them out of the cabin. Cameron is going to spend the night tomorrow and Trevor the next night. So, that will be fun for them and it will be nice to have some one-on-one time with each of them. I feel like I need to be teaching Cameron more than I have been. He can now spell his name, mommy, and if he has a quick reminder, Erin's name. He can also recognize the numbers from 0-10 almost all the time. I will have more of a chance to teach both of them a little when I have them by themselves, so I will take advantage of it! My sister comes on Wednesday, I can't wait!!! It's been way too long! You need to move here Erin! We have a lot planned over the next week or so. Dad comes for the 4th of July weekend and my sister's birthday. It will be great to have the family together. I especially like that they can spend time with the kids. They have changed so much since they saw them last. They are little boys now!
