This is Trevor's new face. He makes it if he's trying to get a toy back that Cameron took or if he's trying to open something.....it's so funny! Here he's smashing grapes.

Permanent Marker!!!

Summer has officially started and things have stayed busy! Cameron's belly is doing better, so that's great news! I took the kids to the zoo one day last week, we had a play date one evening, we met daddy at a park for a lunch picnic and play time, played with a bubble machine, and we had lots of pool time. Trevor is not so fond of the big pool this year. He's a little scared in there, it's the age. Cameron is finally warming up to the pool. His swim coach said that he's not doing as much as the others and wants to know why he isn't learning faster. I think he's just very timid with new things like this, but he has come from not being able to be in the water without latching to an adult all the way to jumping in the pool all by himself and swimming to the steps (with a vest on, of course). He jumped in by himself for the first time yesterday, that was a big milestone! He was so proud of himself and I was so proud of him too. He earned himself an ice cream! Another big event was that Cameron decided to draw all over himself, the computer table, the keyboard, and the computer monitor with purple permanent marker. Lucky for him, some nail polish remover got it all off the comuter things. The table is still a mess and his belly button is still a little purple however. I never expected this out of Cameron, especially to write on himself. He doesn't like to be dirty or have things out of place. I couldn't believe it. When I took the picture above, I didn't know about the computer. I was actually laughing and telling him not to play with markers anymore. I took a picture to remember it. Then I went to check the basement and found the rest of his "art work." What a memory!

Saturday I did the CF Climb at Papa John's Stadium. This was the first year, so there was not a large outcome. I am not in shape at all! I thought it was just some steps and a laid back thing. We got there and had to wear ankle chips and it was an official race!! My friend JoAnn did it with me. We were dying, but I was able to make it around the entire stadium. Needless to say, I'm pretty sore today! This morning Zach had a triathlon. It was 90 degrees and humid. I don't know how he did it. He came out about 70th (mid-pack) from the water, then was at about 40th place after the bike and then back to about 60th after the run and at the finish. We almost didn't make it because Trevor was throwing up clear liquid and gagging this morning. He also woke up at about 4am doing this. He had no fever and was acting normal, so I took the kids and we got there right before the race started. The boys did great watching and loved playing with some new water guns I got for them. Trevor has not eaten a thing all day today though, only liquids. So, I'm worried he may have some sort of virus or something. We'll have to see how tonight goes! Maybe we just need to have a more relaxing week this week and do some indoor activities.
